a thready pulse

i want to stay home soooo badddd but i have so many important things to do today. my observation, for one thing. it's my duty day, so i have to monitor the auditorium this morning. and both of my lessons today are things a sub wouldn't have the first clue where to start. i am crucial to the system but i am also hanging on by a thread. i really want to cry tbh.

maybe i... shouldn't... stay till may?

OMG I KNEW THERE WAS GOING TO BE A FIRE DRILL. I KNEW IT. thankfully it was the period right before my observation. also thankfully the students were relatively normal about it, although four people told me they were scared and i was like "why? it's just a fire drill. we have these like every month."

oh but the funniest part was that this kid said "i want to go home" and then his friend pointed and told me the kid literally lived across the street. i was looking at his front porch. must be nice.
